Native English governor is required to join a Russian family in Moscow, London and Sardinia for the summer to assist with the education, behavior and recreational activities for a 6-year-old boy.

The governor will be responsible for providing a range of age appropriate activities to develop the child’s understanding of the English language, revise work completed from the last academic year, promote good behavior, teach etiquette, encourage independence in daily tasks and provide engaging activities.

The child would also like to learn a new skill so knowledge of a specialist subject or sport (football, tennis, cricket etc.) is desirable.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified teacher (CELTA/TEFL minimum) who is confident in meeting all the needs of the child. The child plans to enter into ISM (International School of Moscow) during the next academic year so experience in entry exams to such schools is desirable. Sport coaching is also desirable along with experience in promoting good behavior.

The candidate should have an interest in sports, be energetic, active, confident and ready to have lots of fun.

The candidate is required to commence employment with the family in Moscow ASAP. The family will later travel to London and then onto Sardinia for the rest of the summer. The contract is initially for 3 months with the likely hood of extending this if the summer is a success.

The family has two other children who are cared for by their own nannies.

Accommodation will be provided throughout the contract; a private apartment, hotel room or private room within the family home during different locations of employment.

Working schedule to be negotiated.

Interviews to take place this week in Moscow or on Skype. Position to commence ASAP.

Package:
• Salary £850-£1000 per week
• Visa and travel expenses will be covered
• Live in/out during different locations of employment

Requirements:
• Native English speaker
• Relevant Teaching qualifications
• Experience of sports coaching/specialist knowledge
• Energetic, enthusiastic, fun and active
• Available to start ASAP
