Full-time English-speaking Governess required for G7 & B8, located in Andalusia, Spain, salary £1300 per week gross. Start October.
A lovely Italian/American family residing in Andalusia, Spain is seeking a top Governess to teach and mentor their two young children.
As a Governess, you will be responsible for supporting the children’s online home-schooling following the British Curriculum.
As a Governess your main responsibilities will be to support and implement the children’s curriculum in place, provide extra classes and project-based learning on topics of interest. In addition to this, you will act as an appropriate role model/mentor to them as well as promote good manners, teach etiquette and promote learning at every opportunity.
The family has 5 children in total, your focus will be on only two of them, from time to time you will spend time with the other children, playing sports, and doing fun craft activities.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified teacher holding at least a PGCE or BA in Education. A minimum of 5 years of previous experience of working in private households as a Governess is desired. You will be fluent in at least one other language.
The family is keen to find a long-term candidate who will be with the family for many years to come.
This is a live-out position with separate accommodation provided close to the family home. During travel, you will be provided with a private hotel room or apartment.
The working schedule will be 5/2 with weekends off. The working hours will be from 9 am – 2 pm. Flexibility is required when travelling.
