Full-time English-speaking Governess/Governor required for B11, located in London, salary £55000 – £65000 gross per annum. Start ASAP
A Russian family residing in Marble Arch, London is searching for a friendly Governess/Governor for their 11-year-old son.
As a Governess/Governor, your main focus will be assisting the boy with his education and supporting his school work. In addition to this, you will be required to act as a PA and be responsible for overseeing and organising the boy’s schedules. He has a number of tutors and extracurricular classes he attends weekly, therefore holding strong organisation skills is essential for this role.
You will act as a positive role model, teach etiquette and spend time doing hobbies and fun activities.
The ideal candidate will be an educated Governess/Governor with at least 4 years of experience in similar roles. Holding a teaching qualification is essential for this role (QTS/PGCE/MA/BA). Being flexible, active and willing to keep up with the family’s busy schedule is required.
The working schedule will be 5/2, working Sunday – Thursday from 10.30 am until approximately 7.30/8 pm. Flexibility is required.
The family travel internationally and you will be required to travel with them (8-12 weeks per year).
This position is only suitable for candidates located in London already as no accommodation is provided.
