Full-time English-speaking Governess required for G9, located in Kuwait, £1400 – £1500 per week. Live in, Start ASAP
A lovely family located in Kuwait is seeking a highly experienced, qualified, and professional Governess to assist with the social and academic support of their daughter.
As a Governess, you will assist and organise the daily schedule of the girl and support her education. You will be required to attend school meetings, coordinate with her teachers, and escort her to after-school activities. In addition to this, you will be required to assist with the young girl’s social and emotional development as she becomes older. Encourage positive relationships with peers, and overall promote a healthy lifestyle. The young girl is very active and enjoys basketball and swimming.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Governess who is a qualified teacher, holding a PGCE/QTS/MA or equivalent. Good administrative and organisational skills are essential, along with a friendly and creative personality. The ability to work as a team is crucial as the family has a fully staffed household.
Your focus will be on the 9-year-old however on occasion you will be required to offer tutoring to the older daughter in the household while the young girl is at school.
This is a live-in position with a separate bedroom and bathroom provided within the family home.
The family has 1 small dog.
The family travels internationally and you will be required to travel with them. The family has a home located in London and preference would be given to a candidate located in London that knows the area.
The working schedule will be 6 days per week with Friday as your day off working 10 hours per day. Flexibility is essential.
The initial interview will be held via Zoom, if you are shortlisted, face to face interview will be conducted while the client is in London during the period from 22nd February – 1st March. You must be available during this period to meet the client and the child.
