Full-time English-speaking Governess required for G7 in Pune, India, Salary £1400 – £1500 per week, Live out. Start ASAP
A family is seeking a qualified, experienced, and engaging Governess to join their family to support their daughter with her education and extracurricular activities.
As a Governess, you will be responsible for the educational needs of the child, supporting her schooling, providing educational and interactive play, games and activities, ensuring she is meeting age-appropriate milestones, teaching English alongside daily routines, and encouraging positive behaviour and good manners. In addition to this, the family is seeking an exceptional candidate who can help the child excel in her extracurricular activities.
The young girl attends an IB school, she is achieving well and wishes to excel further in all her studies through mentoring.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified and experienced candidate, previous experience of working in private households is preferred. The Governess should hold relevant qualifications (PGCE, CELTA or QTS) who can create and implement education plans and support academic growth. In addition, the Governess should be fun, engaging, energetic, able to teach, and create good routines and habits.
Working as a team is essential, the family home is fully staffed and a driver will take you to and from school and activities.
This role is offered as a live-out position with a private apartment located close by to the family home.
The working schedule is 6 days per week, with Sundays off.
Monday – Friday from 6.30 am to escort the child to school. A break is provided during the day and duties commence again for school pick to 7.30 pm. Saturday will be up to 10 hours per day.
Salary on offer is from £1400 – £1500 per week,
