Full-time English-Speaking Governor required for B17 located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, salary £1200 per week. Live out, Start ASAP
A nice family located in Jeddah is looking for a professional, educated, and experienced Governor to educate and mentor their 17-year-old son.
The teenage boy has a keen interest in sports with most weekends spent at the beach doing water sports or playing tennis and football. He attends school daily and has recently had to retake year 11 due to his grades not being satisfactory. He shows signs of ADHD, therefore, is slightly behind his peers. The family is keen to find a governor who can support the school’s curriculum, provide tuition in all core topics, and offer mentorship within his personal life.
As a Governor you will be required to support the boy with his studies, offering 1-2-1 support, offering guidance and acting as a positive role model. You will plan extracurricular activities based on his interests and incorporate education where possible.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Governor who is engaging, positive, proactive, and intelligent. Teaching experience is required. Previous private household experience is important as well as experience in working with children and teens with ADHD.
This is a live-out position with a private apartment provided close to the family home.
The working schedule is 6/1 with 1 day off during the week. The working hours will be approximate 6 hours a day during the week, with weekend days working up to 10 hours a day.
This position is ideally suited to candidates located in Saudi Arabia already.
