A wonderful family residing in Vigo, Spain is seeking a professional, fun and active Governor/Governess for their 2-year-old son to assist with his educational and recreational activities.

The child has beginner level of Mandarin and the family now require a Mandarin speaking Governor/Governess to enhance his skills further.

The Governor/Governess is required to provide fun and engaging activities, play and classes to fully immerse the child in the Mandarin language. Teaching should be achieved through everyday interaction, games, walks to the park etc. In addition to this, you will also be required to prepare the young boy meals and from time to time may be required to cook for the whole family.

The family is searching for an enthusiastic Governor/Governess able to engage the child in a fun and relaxed manner. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Governor/Governess with this age range and who has previously worked in private households. Qualifications such as TEFL/CELTA as a minimum are required. The candidate should be a native Mandarin speaker or a native Spanish or English candidate fluent in Mandarin.

The family intend to relocate to London in early 2018 and the candidate will be required to join them.

Ability to speak English or Spanish is necessary, as some members of the family have no knowledge of Mandarin.

This is a live in position with a private room and bathroom provided within the family home.

The working schedule will be 5/2, weekends will be off, but the family has asked for flexibility as they often travel at short notice and you will be required to travel with them.

Please note: only EU nationals will be considered due to the relocation to the UK in the future.

Package:

Salary from £500- £600 net per week
4 weeks paid holidays
Working schedule negotiable (5/2, approximately 6-8 hours per day).
Travel expenses will be covered
Live in (private bedroom and bathroom)
International travel

Requirements:

Qualified & Experienced Governor / Governess
Fluent in Mandarin (English/Spanish) essential
Relevant Childcare and/or Teaching qualifications
Energetic, enthusiastic, fun and professional
Eu passport holder
Available to start ASAP
