Full-time French-speaking Nanny/Governess required in Istanbul, Turkey for G4 & G7, salary €6000 – €7500 NET per month, Live-in, Start July/August.
A lovely family living in Istanbul, Turkey, is seeking an exceptional French-speaking Nanny/Governess to assist in the care and development of their children. The family will be travelling during the summer and the role will commence in the south of France and return to Istanbul.
As a Nanny/Governess, your primary responsibility will be to support the daily routines and overall well-being of both children. You will assist the 7-year-old with her daily schedule, including school pick-up, and accompany the children to and from extracurricular activities. You will provide homework and immerse the children in the French language. A key aspect of the role will involve planning and delivering engaging, language-rich activities to support the children’s general development, with a particular emphasis on fostering proficiency in the French language. You will work closely with other household staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive environment, ensuring that both girls are consistently well cared for and their individual needs are met.
The ideal candidate will be an active, enthusiastic, passionate and professional nanny/governess who has previous experience teaching French within a role, holding relevant childcare qualifications and solid experience of working in private households is essential.
The family is keen to find the right candidate who will be with them long-term.
The working schedule will be 6 days per week with a day off allocated during the week. The specific day off can be discussed and agreed upon in advance with the family working 12 hours per day. Flexibility is required during times of travel.
This is a live-in position, with a private room and bathroom provided within the family home.
