A Belgian family is seeking a qualified Native English speaking Governess to join their family.

As a Governess you will be responsible for the daily care of the children, providing a high standard of care, meeting all their daily needs and routines, ensuring they are reaching all age appropriate milestones and promoting development. The children already have a Spanish Nanny who you will be working alongside. Your main focus will be on the children’s education and promoting the English Language at every opportunity. You will be required to create engaging play, games, and activities to further their understanding of the world around them.

The is a shared care role with the Spanish Nanny and the housekeepers.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Native English Governess, with experience of working in private households and the British Educational system. The Governess should hold relevant teaching qualifications.

This is a live-out position with no accommodation on offer, therefore only suitable for candidates located close by.

The working schedule is 5 days per week, working hours 9 am – 6 pm with flexibility required. Two overnight stays may be requested per month (agreed in advance).
