A high profile family in Washington DC who is seeking a friendly fun and professional Governor to mentor their 8-year-old son.

As a Governor you will be required to assist the young boy in all aspects of his life, providing daily mentoring and guidance, assisting with school work and education and acting a positive role model/friend in his life.

Duties will involve tutoring Maths and English and assisting with other school homework, escorting him to daily activities, act as a big brother and friend, play video games and enjoy downtime, act a positive role model and teach etiquette and manners and promote positive behaviour.

The boy enjoys football and swimming and the Governor must be confident in both.

There is a younger sister in the family and sometimes you will be required to work with both siblings.

Security is with the family 24/7, no driving is required and travel will always be private.

The ideal candidate will be an intelligent and qualified governor (ideally holding a professional degree and or PGCE). The candidate must be smart, professional, nurturing and fun to be around but be extremely respectful with impeccable manners as time will be spent around Royals and Government. Holding a drivers licence is required

The household is fully staffed and you will work as a team member with all other house staff (security, house manager, chefs and housekeepers).

This a live out position with private accommodation provided.

Salary of $60,000 – $70,000 per annum depending on the experience and qualifications of the candidate.

Preference will be given to those already legal and able to work in the USA but the family can assist with a work permit if required.
