Full-time English-speaking Rota Nanny/Governess required in London (Notting Hill) for 4 children, £54,000 gross per year, 2 weeks on/off, Start ASAP.
A client located in Notting Hill is seeking a fun, calm and creative English-speaking Nanny/Governess to join their family to provide care and educational support to their 4 children aged B1.5, G6, G8, & G10.
As a Nanny/Governess, you will be responsible for meeting the daily needs of the children; providing a high standard of care within a nurturing environment, following an already established routine and schedule, and ensuring the children are reaching all age-appropriate milestones.
Duties will include assisting the mother with the morning routines of getting the children up and ready for school, including waking up, breakfast, dressing and leaving the house on time. You will take the lead on the daily needs of the youngest child, delivering an array of play-based activities, preparing lunch, bathing and getting him ready for bed in the evening. For the older children in the home, you will assist with their day-to-day schedules, provide and arrange after-school activities, help with school homework and encourage independence. You will ensure all the children’s belongings are in order, help get their school bags ready for the next school day and generally be hands-on to assist the family to ensure all the children’s needs are being met.
The ideal candidate will be calm, creative and looking to join a family for the long term. You should be independent, proactive, able to undertake tasks without being managed and have a kind manner. The children are very creative and are looking for a candidate that enjoys arts and crafts along with performing arts. You will be required to collect the children from school on occasion so being a driver is essential for this role.
International travel will be required.
There is other household staff in the home and you will be required to work with them.
This is a live-out position with no accommodation provided so only suitable for candidates located close by.
The working schedule is 2 weeks on/2 weeks off, working from 7 am – 7 pm.
Driver essential and family car provided for work purposes.
