A lovely British family require a Governor/Teacher to educate their teenage son while traveling around the world.

The family will be embarking on a round the world trip commencing early August and is seeking a qualified teacher to provide home schooling during their trip. The teenage boy currently attends a top private school in the UK and requires daily classes following the British curriculum.

As a Governor/Teacher you will be responsible for educating the boy following the British curriculum and offering classes in all core subjects.

Formal classes will be required as well as project work, excursions, and extra curriculum activities.

The ideal candidate will be flexible, energetic, kind, well mannered, open minded to teaching, active and creative – someone who is capable of adapting their classes to different environments, making each location a new learning experience and linking in with the interests of the boy. The Governor/Teacher will hold a PGCE and have extensive knowledge of the British curriculum.

The family will be traveling worldwide throughout the year; therefore the candidate will need a sense of adventure and an open mind to different cultures.

Accommodation will be provided in each location in the form of a separate hotel room.

Working schedule is 5 days on/2 days off, working Monday – Friday up to 10 hours a day.

Requirements:

Qualified and experienced Governor/Teacher
PGCE qualified with knowledge of British curriculum
Flexible, hardworking, open minded, creative, great role model
