A wonderful position has arisen for a lovely Australian family to provide the educational needs of their two children.

The family will be embarking on a round the world trip commencing September and is seeking a qualified teacher to support the children academically throughout their trip. The children currently attend a British international school and require daily classes to keep them on level with their peers.

As a teacher/tutor you will be responsible for educating the children following the British curriculum and offering classes in all core subjects.

This is a lovely opportunity for a teacher to leave the classroom and use the environment, culture and world around them to allow the children to learn, explore and grow. Formal classes will be required as well as project work, excursions, extra curriculum activities, play and games to promote the children’s learning.

The ideal candidate will be flexible, energetic, kind, well mannered, open minded to teaching, active and creative – someone who is capable of adapting their classes to different environments, making each location a new learning experience and linking in with the interests of the children. The teacher/tutor will hold a PGCE and have extensive knowledge of the British curriculum.

Speaking Mandarin would be beneficial but not essential

Travel and destinations will include Singapore, Sydney, US, Hawaii, Canada and Europe.

The family will be travelling with a housekeeper/nanny so no care duties are required.

Accommodation is provided and this will vary from location to location.

Working schedule is 5 days on/2 days off, working Monday – Friday from 9am – 5pm.
