A high profile Russian family is seeking a native English-speaking Governess/Governor for their young boy aged 2,7 to assist with the education and recreational activities.

As a Governess/Governess you will be responsible for the day-to-day upbringing of the child – promoting good behavior, teaching etiquette, establishing good routines and educating the child. You will be required to provide an introduction to the English language in a fun, interactive manner. The child doesn’t attend kindergarten so the candidate should be able to help him with the educational program for his age.

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, friendly & flexible professional teacher, who is able to engage the child in a fun and relaxed manner. The candidate will be experienced with this age range and who has previously worked in private households. Qualifications such as TEFL/CELTA as a minimum are required.  If the candidate is fond of music, psychology, and sport this would be an advantage.

The working schedule is 5 day per week for 2 hours a day, working from 4 pm. The family may consider increasing the hours to a full-time role later.

This position is located in Moscow (the nearest metro station is Frunzenskaya).

This position is only suitable for candidates already based in Moscow.
