Temporary English-speaking Teacher required for a group of 6 year old girls, located in Moscow, Russia. Salary RUB 6000 – RUB 8000 per hour, start ASAP, 2.5 months contract.
A group of 3-5 girls who are 6 years old require home schooling. They attend the Anglo-American School in Moscow which is temporarily closed. Their parents would like to continue with their education and arrange classes at home and seek a highly experienced, qualified and professional teacher who is able to provide a home-schooling environment.
The girls are beginners in English but have been studying with English speaking teachers. The parents are seeking a fun, modern and engaging teacher to replicate the school’s curriculum and redesign it based on the girl’s learning abilities and interests. They would like the teacher to communicate only in English
As a teacher, your main responsibility will be to create a program of learning and provide fun classes and engaging activities to improve their current level and prepare them for the following school year. In addition to this, you will act as an appropriate role model/mentor as well as promote good manners, teach etiquette and promote learning at every opportunity.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified teacher (PGCE/QTS as a minimum) with previous experience working in a private household. Past experience and success in achieving good results with this age would be beneficial.
The working schedule will be 3-5 days a week (weekdays), 4 – 5 hours a day, preferable in the mornings. The exact schedule is negotiable. The parents will arrange the educational environment, snacks and walks.
This is a live-out position with no accommodation provided.This is ONLY suitable for teachers who are already based in Moscow.
Interviews and start date to commence immediately.
This is 2-3 months contract until the end of June.
