A native English Governor/Governess is required to join a lovely Russian family during the summer of 2017 for two months to assist in the education and development for their 6-year-old son.

The Governor/Governess will be responsible for providing a range of age appropriate activities and classes to develop the child’s level of English and support their academic learning. In addition you will arrange excursions and recreational time and escort the child to and from his summer activities.

A typical day will be 8 working hours and should include fun games and play, interactive learning, sports and a few hours of sit down focused learning in line with his current curriculum. The boy attends an English International school following the British curriculum.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified teacher (CELTA/TEFL minimum, PGCE preferred) who has previous experience of working in private households, is fun, energetic, enthusiastic and have knowledge of the British curriculum.

This is a live in position with a separate bedroom provided in the family villa.

Working schedule will be 6 days per week for approx. 8 hours per day with flexibility required.

Salary is from £900 – £1200 per week (negotiable based on skills, experience and qualifications).

Interviews to take place ASAP and position to commence in July 2017.

This is a temporary contract for 2 months.
